The "1" to Call for Music,
Entertainment & Video!
Stacie: "I didn't just listen to their music from an intellectual standpoint or just to judge. I listened from a deep experiential space and allowed the words and sounds to activate memories, hopes; past, present and future to blend into one complete experience. I instantly became a fan, a supporter.... because I knew that their music would take me to a much greater and higher place."
Tom: "When I first heard them play, I knew they were too good for the place that they were playing. I became a supporter, because their music made a difference in my life. Their lyrics took me into every kind of experience and place that opened up my mind. I went from the sadness of blues and broken love affairs to great admiration, love and the ecstasy. Dr. Paul's lyrics took me through a journey of my own history and the history of our country and planet. I could identify with the words of broken relationships and romantic love. With his dance music, I went right into a deep groove and couldn't sit in my chair. In a strange way reminded me of Louis Prima and Keely Smith. Hello Vegas!"
Janet: "I know they were playing just for the fun of it and the enjoyment of being together. There was this experience of total companionship. It showed and spread to the audience. I was blown away when Dr. Paul did a documentary song entitled, "Remembered 1968." Then he backed it up with a tribute song to the lost childhood of Michael Jackson and those of us who also gave up and lost part of our own childhood. I could identify. Then he switched gears and did some satirical, on the edge, risqué comedy blues. I could feel myself smile and feel the tinge of self-consciousness as I knew he was joking around and being devilish."
Club owner Jack: "Dr. Paul is a lucky man. His beautiful wife Reisa sings her heart out and her songs opened up so many feelings and memories for me. Two of them give me hope that it could be possible for me to have a great loving experience. Their songs are so high spirited and yet do not overlook the sadness that we all sometimes feel. When I listen to Dr. Paul's saxophone machinations, I could feel different neural pathways in my brain opening up. His freestyle is extremely dynamic, wild, sometimes undisciplined, struggling to be subdued, powerful and maybe too loud for some people. But, this is a man who refuses to be overly repressed or controlled. I couldn't wait for him to let loose. He came blowing through with an integration of smooth jazz, Latin House and dance music that touched every palate. I could see that he had a vast repertoire and for my audience, he was pushing the beauty of the music."
Stony: "I couldn't believe my ears. They were playing some of the old classics and then they came in with some of the most beautiful contemporary songs. At some point, they switched directions and went into futuristic highly grooved dance music fused with the strange commentaries of Dr. Paul and his outlandish saxophone rides into realms of consciousnesse that only the adventurous dare to contemplate."
Ivan: "When Reisa sang, " I hope you dance," I almost melted. It's got to be my all time favorite. Then Dr. Paul switched into a jungle beat groove and I could see his humor coming through the music. They both drew great pictures and images for me to see. At one point Dr. Paul went into a down tempo/house/smooth jazz groove that I knew didn't exist anywhere else on the planet. I went into this music and this music went into me. It was fantastic. Reisa sang some of my favorite blues and I immediately thought of Etta James morphed into Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler and Gloria Estephan"
Betty: "I envy them. They do it just for the fun of being together. It's companionship at the highest level. And the music is great. I could see myself singing and dancing and just having fun doing music just for the sake of doing music, not just for the money. When I went home, after the show, their songs and melodies were still going off in my head and my aloneness was filled with the joy of the music. It's great having those songs going through my mind. It makes a big difference in my day. These people and their music are doing something extremely positive in my life. I'm so glad to be a part of it."
Jerry: "I can't believe this guy, Dr. Paul. I run this big music conglomerate. He came into my office and did 20 minutes of spontaneous standup comedy. I almost peed myself laughing. I asked him where he got these jokes. I had never heard them before. He said his jokes were so old that he was channeling old and dead comedians... that's why I never heard those jokes. I then asked him why he didn't do standup. He said he was a street comic and that's where he was the most effective. Then he went on stage with his beautiful wife Reisa and they knocked my socks off. I couldn't believe they had this much talent. These are working people. They have jobs during the day. They do this music and this joking around just for fun and companionship."
Cameron: "I started out with Dr. Paul and Reisa on my radio show. Reisa was so charming and beautiful. Dr. Paul was deep and funny. They changed my life. I found out that Dr. Paul has been a successful psychotherapist for over 42 years. Wow! I became a fan and an ardent supporter. Then, I decided I would use my promotional skills to see what I could do to get them out into the public and performing. I am a very picky guy and I know these people are very sincere and a lot of fun. I am going to see that I do everything I can to help them promote their music. They are a positive force in the universe."
