At Odyssey1, we love to make fun and have FUN! So, we've come up with a few activities that will create high energy fun at your party!
"Pump the Jumpin Dance": Celebrate and commemorate the anniversary of one's bris (circumcision) with this dance! This is a hilarious, improvisational dance experience for every Jewish and non-Jewish male who has ever been circumcised. It also includes the women and moms who have had to go through this rite of passage with their newborns. The dance includes the satirical/lust for life, laugh at yourself, gaiety and exuberance that is typically Jewish and and so much of other cultural groups. This dance expresses the comedic, dance and celebratory viewpoint created out of the workshops of feelings, music, dance and laughter of Dr. Paul Hannig.
"The TuTu Dance": This hilarious musical and visual experience will crack up celebrants at your event. Dr. Paul and some of your male guests will make a surprise entrance in huge TuTus and dance to a pre-selected piece of music. Dance steps can be pre-rehearsed or completely spontaneous. Imagine what a riotous presentation this could be!
"The Ice Cube Laughter Dance": What happens when you put an ice cube down your back? Oh, the wiggles that ensue until you get it out! We set up competition for the best "ice cube down the back" dance between people and let the audience judge the best of the wiggling! It's a blast and the laughter is non-stop!
"The Hi-Five Icebreaker": Everyone knows how to hi-five each other, but what happens when you miss? Imagine a whole room full of people purposely hi-fivin' and missin' each other. Nothing but laughter and energy. It's a great way to break the ice at any party.
"The Red Carpet Dance": Walking down the aisle or making the grand entrance at a wedding reception can be stilted at times. Dr. Paul and Reisa introduce the Red Carpet Dance, where the bridal party dances down the aisle or when entering the reception hall. You choose the dance ... it can be hip-hop, salsa, disco, or anything you prefer. This gets rid of all nervousness and electrfies everyone at the ceremony and sets the stage for a fantastic reception.
"The JEWbilation Experience": Jewish events are fantastic. When the music gets going, the horas get rolling. Circles of dancing people and non-stop high energy music all the way! As DJs, we've culled the best of some of the great Jewish bands for this. From Orthodox to Reform plus, we have the music to structure the evening's events. Let us make some lucky members of your event into Bottle Dancers for a fabulous start to Jewish group horas! You pick your special people and we'll surprise them. This experience has become so popular, that it has become an all out blast for many heritages.
